Founded Simbolon & Partners Law Firm after his departure from one of Indonesia’s fast-growing law firm, obtained his law degree in 1997 from Padjadjaran University, Bandung. He is a holder of a postgraduate degree from Gadjahmada University, Yogyakarta. Mr. Simbolon is a member of the Indonesian Bar Association and holds a license to practice in Indonesian Courts, Registered Capital Market Legal Consultant, Intellectual Property Consultant. Certified Data Protection and he is also member of several law organizations international.

Before opening Simbolon & Partners, to complete his experiences and expertise, Mr. Simbolon joined the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA). In this agency, Mr. Simbolon has faced various types of legal matters with respect to the bank recapitalizations and asset resolutions. With more than a decade of experiences in the field of laws: general corporate and commercial law, foreign investment law, criminal, civil and commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, energy and natural resources law, bankruptcy law, land & property law, insurance law, immigration law, banking and finance law, consumer law, labor law, maritime law, capital market law, alternative dispute resolution, debt recovery.

Mr. Simbolon enjoyed to provide his knowledge by making article, comments and awarded as contributor to local and international organization and firms for producing their books (i.e.: Doing Business 2014-2021 World Bank Group, Carter Ruck on Libel and Privacy Sixth Edition-Lexis Nexis). He speaks Bahasa Indonesia and English.

ATHIFAH ALATAS, S.H., M.COM (BUSINESS LAW)

Graduated from Trisakti University with a degree in law. She continued her studies at Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Australia majoring in Master of Commerce in Business Law.

Mrs. Alatas had excellent experiences working in well-known law firms in Jakarta before she decided to join Simbolon & Partners Law Firm. From those experiences, she has great understanding on general corporate law, foreign capital investment, company restructuring and industrial relations as well as commercial dispute. Her focus of practice area has advised various her Clients to achieve their objectives legal needs.

Mrs. Alatas is a member of Indonesian Advocates Organization (Perhimpunan Advokat  Indonesia/PERADI) and holds a license to practice in Indonesian Courts. She speaks Bahasa Indonesia and English.

RIYADI WAHYU INDARTO, S.H.

Graduated from Merdeka University, Malang. Mr. Wahyu is a member of Indonesian Advocates Organization (Perhimpunan Advokat  Indonesia/PERADI) and holds a license to practice in Indonesian Courts.

His practice focuses on criminal, civil and commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, bankruptcy law, land & property law, consumer law, labor law, and family law, alternative dispute resolution and debt recovery. He speaks Bahasa Indonesia and English.

KRISNAWATI DWI SAFITRI, S.H.

Graduated from Krisnadwipayana University, Jakarta. Ms. Safitri is a member of Indonesian Advocates Organization (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia/PERADI) and holds a license to practice in Indonesian Courts.

ICHSAN CAHYA INDARTA, S.H.

Graduated from Pancasila University, Jakarta. During his university years, not only he was active in several organization, he was the  head of student overseer organization of Pancasila University. Prior to joining Simbolon & Partners Law Firm, he worked with prominent law firm in Jakarta.  Mr. Ichsan is a member of Indonesian Advocates Organization (Perhimpunan Advokat  Indonesia/PERADI) and holds a license to practice in Indonesian Courts.

DISARA WULANDARI, S.H.

Graduated from Brawijaya University, Malang. During her university years, she was active in several organization, among others Asian Law Students’ Association (ALSA LC UB) and Business Law Community (BLC FH UB). She had experience in various committees, seminar workshops, and National events. Prior to joining Simbolon & Partners she had legal internship at Otoritas Jasa Keuangan Jakarta (OJK) and Trainee Associate at another law firm in Jakarta.

GUNAWAN SEMBIRING, S.H.

Graduated from University of Sumatera Utara. During his university years, he was active in several organization, among others Perkumpulan Gemar Belajar (GEMBEL FH USU) and joined in various committees, seminars and workshops. Prior to joining Simbolon & Partners Law Firm, he worked with prominent law firm in Jakarta.

FRANSISCA REGINA, S.H.

Graduated from Brawijaya University, Malang with hold a cum laude predicate. During her undergraduate days, she was actively involved in numerous organizations, such as Business Law Community and Asian Law Students’ Association. Lastly, she served as Vice Director of Business Law Community Board of 2019.

Prior to joining S&P Law Firm, she worked with prominent law firm in Jakarta. where she was involved in both contentious and non-contentious competition law matters across a wide range of sectors.

FATHIA NOTARINA, S.H.

Graduated from University of Indonesia. She embraced the major in Business Law with a variety of lessons which related to economic law. She involved in several organizations such as ALSA LC UI, LASALE FHUI, and AIESEC and also joined National Moot Court Competition in 2015.

Prior to joining Simbolon & Partners Law Firm, she was worked in prominent law firm in Jakarta in handling corporate commercial, capital market, and M&A.
